Nostrils flare reduction by wedge trimming

This is a basic surgical maneuver in most rhinoplasties of almost any kind, either primary or revisional although quite commonly in ethnic noses, whenever the ala of the nostrils shows a prominent flare at the nasal base, needing full thickness resection en bloc to flatten its prominence.
